Honorary General Awards go to two Waynesboro High School seniors

The Waynesboro Generals announce that the team’s 2016 Honorary General Awards go to seniors Cody Dawson and Madison Allen of Waynesboro High School.

The awards are bestowed for the recipients’ display of good sportsmanship, character, team play and academics.

Dawson, an outfielder for the baseball team, and Allen, a catcher for the softball team, will both be honored at a future Generals home game. Each will receive a $250 scholarship plus a certificate denoting their achievements.

Dawson intends to further his education at Blue Ridge Community College while Allen is headed for Old Dominion University.
