Good move by the local organizing committee for our next No Kings protest, which will be held next Saturday, March 28, in and around the Gypsy Hill Park Bandstand in Staunton, a few blocks away from downtown.

The other No Kings and Hands Off protests were held downtown, on the grounds of the Augusta County Courthouse, which was hard to secure from passing traffic, and also, the last rally drew more than 1,500 people – we’ve pretty much outgrown the space there, with a bigger crowd expected next weekend.

The weather forecast for next weekend is, not great – AccuWeather has a forecast high at 47 degrees in Staunton, so, wear layers.
