George Mason, at least, didn’t lose either of its Quad 3 games this week, but Mason sure isn’t doing itself any favors in the predictive metrics.

The Patriots (20-2, 8-1 A-10, NET: 65) led for all of 17 seconds in their 77-73 win at St. Bonaventure (13-9, 2-7 -10, NET: 146) on Saturday, rallying from 14 down in the second half.

This, after rallying from down six at halftime to beat Davidson (13-8, 5-4 A-10, NET: 103) on Wednesday.

I mean, they’re winning, but this isn’t going to help the case for an at-large NCAA Tournament bid.

“Grit is what Team 60 embodies,” Mason coach Tony Skinn said. “We’ve done it all season long. Good, bad or ugly, we find a way to finish and win games. This is not an easy place to win, let alone an easy place to mount a comeback. I’ll take that win.”

OK.

Kory Mincy led the Patriots with 22 points (9-of-15 FG, 2-of-6 3FG, 2-of-3 FT).

Fatt Hill added 16 points (8-of-11 FG). Jahari Long had 13 points (3-of-9 FG, 1-of-6 3FG, 6-of-7 FT) and a career-high nine assists.
