On Thursday, June 5 the East Rockingham Senior Center Local Council met at the center.
In addition to VPAS staff, there were 10 council members in attendance. The council discussed involving the community with the Leaders in Action program, a possible grant through Lions of Massanutten Lions Club and multiple fundraising options. Conversation centered around recruiting new council members.
Several new members were present. It was decided monthly council meeting work well.
