Democratic Party gubernatorial nominee Creigh Deeds will make three appearances in the Greater Augusta area later this week during a campaign swing through the Central Shenandoah Valley.

The first event will be a 5 p.m. Thursday rally in front of Mill Street Grill in Downtown Staunton. Then at 9 a.m. Friday Deeds will appear at Black Dog Bikes at 121 S. Lewis St. downtown to talk up his plan for boosting small business in Virginia.

The swing wraps up in Waynesboro with an 11 a.m. event at the Waynesboro Democratic Party headquarters at 801-C W. Broad St in Willow Oak Plaza.

All three events are open to the public.
