Price (14-5, 2.43 ERA) struck out eight and walked four, outdueling Orioles starter Mike Wright (2-4, 5.19 ERA), who gave up three runs on seven hits in four innings of work.

Jose Bautista hit his 32nd homer of the season, a solo shot in the first off Wright, in a 2-for-4 day at the plate.

Baltimore (65-70) is still somehow in the American League wild-card race, six games out of the second wild-card spot, one of eight teams within seven games of the Texas Rangers (70-63).
