Bridgewater College baseball ranked #20 in national D3 poll

bridgewater logoBridgewater College dropped one spot to No. 20 in this week’s D3Baseball.com Top 25 poll.The Eagles finished the past week with a 2-1 record. Bridgewater picked up a midweek victory over Ferrum, 7-2, and then split its weekend conference doubleheader at Randolph-Macon. The Eagles dropped the first game to Macon 11-5, but bounced back to win the second game 3-1.

Bridgewater is scheduled to travel to Ferrum on Thursday and on Saturday the Eagles are set to host a conference doubleheader with Virginia Wesleyan.

Fellow conference members Shenandoah and Hampden-Sydney received votes in this week’s poll but are ranked just outside the Top 25.
