Bevvie party time: Happ Coffee Roasters celebrates one-year anniversary at Basic City

Happ Coffee Roasters is celebrating one year at Basic City in Waynesboro with a series of fun events tomorrow and Saturday.

Tomorrow night at 5:30 p.m., Lightwell Survey will host a wine tasting, and Happ Coffee will serve affogatos with locally made ice cream from Magnolia Honey Bakery.

From 7 to 9 p.m. Friday night, Bent Theatre Improv will perform an Improv Show. Admission is “pay what you will.” Adult content is possible and 18 years old and older is recommended for attendance.

On Saturday, August 17, Spark Studio will have jewelry from 9 a.m. to noon, the Glitter Bee will have face painting from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a public cupping and special coffee release will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. featuring a special birthday latte.

Happ Coffee is open six days a week at 1010 E. Main St., Waynesboro. Hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
