lgo_mlb_baltimore_oriolesZach Britton pitched out of a two-on, one-out jam in the ninth, and Baltimore held on for a 6-4 win over Philadelphia Wednesday night.

The O’s had led 6-1 before the Phillies narrowed the gap on a three-run homer by Freddy Galvis in the seventh to cut the deficit to two.

Chris Parmalee and Travis Snider homered for Baltimore, which got a nice outing from Ubaldo Jimenez (5-3), who gave up four runs, three earned, on eight hits in six and two-thirds, striking out eight with no walks.

Jimenez also had an RBI single in the fourth.
