Baltimore drops rain-shortened game to Boston

baltimore oriolesBoston pounded Dylan Bundy and two O’s relievers for 13 hits in a rain-shortened 8-1 win over Baltimore on Wednesday.

Bundy (6-4, 3.36 ERA, 1.29 WHIP) took the loss, giving up five runs on nine hits in four and a third innings.

David Price (11-8, 4.19 ERA, 1.26 WHIP) was solid for Boston (67-52), giving up a run on four hits in six innings, striking out four.

Jackie Bradley Jr. (20) homered and had four RBIs on a 2-for-4 night for the Sox.

Chris Davis (.220/.337/.442, 25 HR, 63 RBI) provided the offense for Baltimore (66-53) with a solo homer in the second.

Baltimore has lost three of its last four to fall two games behind Toronto (69-52) in the AL East.
