Baltimore drops matinee to Yankees, 5-3

Mike Wright got knocked out in the fifth, nd the Baltimore lineup couldn’t get the big hit it needed in the late innings, in falling to the New York Yankees, 5-3, on Sunday.

Wright (2-2) was touched up for five runs on six hits in four=plus innings of work.

Chasen Shreve (3-1) got the win in relief for the Yankees, who snatched the O’s six-game winning streak.

The New York bullpen held Baltimore hitless in four and a third innings of work in relief of starter Adam Warren, who gave up three runs on six hits in four and two-thirds innings.
