An Augusta County man was arrested after a search warrant was executed on Lyndhurst Road for narcotics and firearms on Thursday.
The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office conducted the raid with SWAT, K9 and drone teams. Augusta County Fire and Rescue also provided assistance at the scene.
Lyndhurst Road was closed for approximately 20 to 30 minutes, according to the ACSO.
Timothy Wayne Warren, 59, of Lyndhurst, was initially taken into custody for a probation violation.
Following a search of the residence, additional charges against Warren include:
- 18.2-248.1 Distribution of marijuana
- 18.2-308.2 Possession of firearm by a convicted felon
Warren is currently being held at Middle River Regional Jail without bond.
A hearing is scheduled for Dec. 4.
Warren is no stranger to police. He has faced 18 other charges dating back to 2003, according to online court records. The charges include grand larceny, assault and battery, drug possession, fraud involving the substitution of a urine sample, as well as multiple probation violations.
Ten years ago, the Waynesboro Police Department arrested Warren after he made lewd gestures to a 16-year-old girl at Kroger on Lew Dewitt Boulevard. He was found guilty of indecent exposure and sentenced to 30 days with the entire sentenced suspended.
