Armbruester, Norby key Tides in 3-2 extra-inning win at Memphis

norfolk tides Baltimore Orioles prospect Justin Armbruester had a career night, striking out 10 in six scoreless innings in a 3-2 Norfolk Tides win over the Memphis Redbirds on Thursday.

Armbruester (1-6, 7.58 ERA, 1.55 WHIP, 10.3Ks/9), a 12th-round pick in the 2021 MLB Draft out of New Mexico, and the #19 ranked prospect in the O’s farm system, allowed three hits and walked one in the outing.

Connor Norby (.294/.380/.532, 16 HRs, 57 RBIs), the #3 prospect in the O’s farm system, homered in the sixth, and brought home the go-ahead run in the 10th with a sacrifice fly.
