A Staunton-based theatre company will present The Pillowman for four performances running March 21-29.

Dogstar Theatre will present the play by Martin McDonagh at the R.R. Smith Center for History and Arts in downtown Staunton.

This show is not intended for children.

It follows a writer being interrogated about the disturbing content of his short stories that seem to mirror a series of crimes. As the questioning unfolds, the play raises unsettling questions about storytelling, imagination and responsibility.

Performances will be offered March 21 and March 28 at 7 p.m. and March 22 and March 29 at 3 p.m.

Tickets are $15 each.

The R.R. Smith Center for History and Arts is located at 20 South New St. in Staunton.

More information is available online.
