The Waynesboro Public Library has invited the community to celebrate Free 99 Library Card Sign-Up Month, with a schedule of activities bringing attention to the 99 free services, resources, programs and opportunities available through the library.

Starting with: new library cardholders can enter the raffle with a chance to win a Kindle or an iPad.

Every new card sign-up earns one raffle entry, and current cardholders can join the fun, too: bring a friend to the library to sign up for a card and receive your own raffle entry.

“Free 99 Library Card Sign-Up Month is a fun way to celebrate the library and remind our community of all the great things libraries have to offer,” Library Director Susan Versen said.

“Whether you’re looking for books, digital resources, technology, programs, or simply a place to connect, your library card opens the door — and it’s all free,” Versen said.
