Albemarle County: Single-vehicle accident on Interstate 64 results in one fatality

An accident on Interstate 64 in Albemarle County on Saturday killed a Florida man after his vehicle overturned multiple times.

Herman W. Hogge, 58, of Bryceville, Fla., suffered serious injuries.  He was taken to an area hospital where he later died due to his injuries.

Virginia State Police is investigating the fatal single vehicle crash that occurred at 10:10 p.m. on I-64 eastbound at the 117-mile marker near Charlottesville.

His GMC Sierra went off of the left side of the highway, struck a guardrail and overturned, according to VSP.
