Fishburne Military School’s postgrad basketball team is #3 in the nation in this week’s PG Sports Writers Top 10 poll from ESPN.com contributor Christopher Lawlor.
FMS (2-0) swept its way through the St. John’s Northwest Miltary Tournament on a Midwest road swing last week – defeating the host St. John’s team 79-74 in the tourney opener on Oct. 30 and then knocking off Quakerdale Prep 77-66 on Oct. 31.
The Caissons return home for the FMS Hoiday Inn Express Tip-Off Challenge that tips off on Thursday. The tourney will feature three of the nation’s top 10 prep teams, including Fishburne, Massanutten Military Academy (#6) and Southern Tech Academy (#7).
