Fish are adapting to the warmer summer temperatures

Anglers who see this species are encouraged to report it, so that measures can be taken to stop its spread in local waters.
As of 2026, there’s no bag or size limit for those who want to catch Alabama Bass, and it is illegal to keep them alive outside the body of water where they have been caught.
