lgo_mlb_baltimore_oriolesWei-Yin Chen got rocked, and the Baltimore fade continued, with the Orioles falling to Tampa Bay, 6-3, the 11th loss for the O’s in their last 12 games.

Chen (8-7, 3.26 ERA) gave up five runs on nine hits in four and two-thirds innings, failing to keep pace with Rays starter Chris Archer (12-10, 2.78 ERA), who gave up four hits in six shutout innings, striking out six and walking three.

Asdrubal Cabrera (10), Evan Longoria (15) and Tim Beckham (7) each homered for Tampa Bay (65-66), who are four games back in the race for the second wild-card spot in the American League.

Baltimore (63-68) is now six games back in the wild-card race.
