LG candidate to stop in Waynesboro Wednesday

Chris Graham

Democratic Party lieutenant-governor nomination candidate Pat Edmonson will make a campaign stop in Waynesboro Wednesday night.
Edmonson will speak at the Waynesboro Democratic Committee meeting being held at the Waynesboro Public Library, Meeting Room A, at 7 p.m.
The public is invited to attend.

Edmonson, a member of the Virginia Beach School Board and the vice-chair of the Virginia Beach Democratic Committee, entered the race for the nomination to run for the second spot on the statewide Democratic Party ticket last month.

Edmonson is a self-proclaimed political progressive who says she will be the only candidate in the Democratic Party race to stand up for true progressive values.

Also running for the nomination are former Secretary of Finance Jody Wagner, Russell County Board of Supervisors member and energy entrepreneur Jon Bowerbank and Richmond political advisor Rich Savage.
