A weekend of blues music is on tap in September as the 15th annual Virginia Chili, Blues & Brews Festival returns to Downtown Waynesboro.
The festival will take place on Saturday, Sept. 13, with music by The Nighthawks, The Mojo Parker Band, KC & The Blues Revue and Fatty Lumpkin & The Love Hogs.
The one-day festival runs from noon to 9 p.m.
Tickets are $20 for adults; children 12 and under are free.
The festival supports arts education and community programming at the Wayne Theatre.
On Friday night, a kickoff event will be held with two free shows at local Main Street venues.
Alex Arbaugh will play at Delly Up from 4-6 p.m. and Joe Pettus will perform a solo acoustic set at The Green Leaf Grill from 6-8 p.m.
