Missing person alert: Charlottesville Police asking for public’s help finding juvenile

The Charlottesville Police Department is asking for help locating a runaway juvenile.

Violet Lopez-Garcia was last seen on Aug. 3, with a friend at a party in Albemarle County.

Family members have been in contact with her and believe she is staying with friends in the Charlottesville/Albemarle County area.

She is currently not believed to be in danger.

Lopez-Garcia is described to be a light-skinned Hispanic female, standing approximately 5’1”, weighing about 110 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
