If you are concerned because your site isn’t performing as well as it could be then there could be a few reasons for this. If you want to get to the bottom of it then you can find out everything you need to know, right here.

Not Being Mobile-Friendly

If your site is not mobile friendly then this will really be going against you. It’s time that you updated this and that you also make the effort to attract more visitors too. If your site is not optimised for a mobile device then there is a high chance that your website will appear small or even broken. This is the last thing that you need, so make sure that you talk with a website designer and that you also focus on making your site more responsive. This is the best way for you to turn thing around and it will also help you to boost your conversion rate.

Not Linking

Another mistake that you could be making is not linking properly. You have to make sure that your site has plenty of backlinks because if you don’t then you will never be seen as being authoritative in the eyes of Google. If you want to turn things around here, then you need to hire a link building service.

Poor Site Design

A poor website design certainly won’t be doing you any favours. Your customers might not be able to find their way around your site map and they may even go to your competitors as a result. This can cause you major problems in terms of your conversion rate, so you need to get that sorted out as soon as possible. If you aren’t quite sure if your site design is poor or not, then it is a good idea for you to check your bounce rate and your click-through analytics too.

Unqualified Professionals

If you built your site yourself or if you know that it wasn’t built by professionals, then there is a high chance that you are missing out. Cheap websites are never a good solution and after a few months, you will soon find that hiring a low-calibre designer was a mistake. You may find that your navigation just isn’t as smooth as it could be and that you are also not able to increase your organic ranking as efficiently either. Before you invest in another website service, you have to make sure that they have the right experience and that they also have good customer reviews.

Not Being Optimised

You could have the most beautiful site in the world, but if you do not optimise it for search then you could be making a huge mistake. You may find that your site never gets clicks and that you are also unable to convert too. This is the last thing that you need, so make sure that all of your images have alt tags and also make sure that you follow the latest Google rules and regulations.
