All American Honor Guard Military History Weekend June 23-24 in Waynesboro

newspaperRidgeview Park in Waynesboro will be host to All American Honor Guard Military History Weekend June 23-24. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 24.

Featured will be American and allied military tableaus from the Jamestown militia to the present, including uniformed reenactors, weaponry, equipment, tentage, rations and vehicles.

Throughout the event, there will also be blank firing of period weapons , short tactical demonstrations along with “Blackjack Pershing Presents True Stories from the Great War.”

There is no charge to attend.  The AAHG is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about America’s rich military history and honoring those that serve and have served our country.
