Tech’s Allen gets two-game suspension

allen.jpgVirginia Tech freshman forward Jeff Allen will miss the Hokies’ next two games after earning a suspension from the ACC for inappropriate conduct with an official during Saturday’s loss at Georgia Tech.
Allen will miss Tech’s home game with Duke on Thursday and the road game at Boston College on Saturday.
Allen bumped official Zelton Steed after being called for his fifth foul with 4:32 left to go in the 81-70 defeat at Georgia Tech.
Allen is averaging 12.8 points per game and 8.1 rebounds per game for the Hokies, who are 11-7 overall and 2-2 in the ACC.
