At 11:12 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 6), Virginia State Police Trooper S.A. Simmons was called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash in the southbound lanes of Interstate 81 at the 223 in Augusta County. A southbound tractor-trailer ran off the left side of the road, struck the guardrail and overturned. The impact of the crash caused the trailer to rupture and spill its load.

Gov. Bob McDonnell announced today that TE Connectivity Ltd. (NYSE: TEL) will invest more than $15 million in the expansion of the company’s operations in the Town of Culpeper in Culpeper County.
