At first glance, the UVa. baseball problem is obvious just by looking at the offensive numbers from last year relative to this year. The ‘Hoos averaged just shy of eight runs a game in 2013, and are just shy of six runs a game in 2014. But that’s only the half of it. Literally.

The regulation governing demonstrations on Capitol Square is “riddled with constitutional problems,” the ACLU of Virginia wrote today in a letter to Gov. Terry McAuliffe. The letter called upon the Governor to take swift action to revise the regulation.
Herring files brief in same sex marriage case

Attorney General Mark R. Herring today filed the Commonwealth of Virginia’s brief in the appeal of Bostic v. Rainey in the Fourth Circuit. In it, the Commonwealth explains the reasons Norfolk federal district Judge Arenda Wright Allen ruled correctly in concurring with Attorney General Herring’s conclusion that Virginia’s ban on same sex marriage is unconstitutional.
