The Waynesboro Symphony Orchestra presents “Symphonic Masquerade” on Friday, October 25 at the Paramount Theater in Charlottesville.

In the continuing effort to revitalize Downtown Waynesboro, the City of Waynesboro will host a series of public meetings the week of September 23rd to 26th as part of a Brownfield Charrette.

The Waynesboro Public Library has a new reading incentive program aimed at children from birth through age five and their caregivers. Called Book A Day, the goal is to encourage parents to read to their children.

Five members of the Valley League champion Waynesboro Generals were ranked among the Top 40 VBL prospects as compiled by Perfect Game USA.

Five area nonprofits received gifts totaling $7,500 from the Waynesboro Kiwanis Club at the club’s regular meeting on Tuesday at the Waynesboro Country Club.

What if you could prevent even one family from hearing the words “you have cancer”? Cancer Prevention Study 3 (CPS3), a national study by the American Cancer Society to better understand the lifestyle, environmental and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer—and so eliminate it as a major health concern—will be hosted locally in September by Augusta Health and the Waynesboro YMCA.

Augusta Health will develop two properties over the next several months into outpatient facilities to meet the needs of their communities. Both facilities will include physician offices, an Urgent Care Center, a laboratory and medical imaging services.

The Waynesboro Senior Center is hosting the fifth annual Waynesboro Senior Forum on Monday, Sept. 16, from 5-7 p.m.
