With top-ranked Florida State, the Atlantic Coast Conference champion, leading the way, the ACC will place an NCAA-record 11 teams in bowl games. The total of 11 bowl-bound schools is the most in NCAA history and breaks a single-season mark of 10 bowl teams, originally set by the ACC in 2008.

Red light traffic cameras are now live and operational in the City of Richmond, and drivers that violate a red light traffic signal at the intersection of Hull Street Road and Elkhardt Road will be subject to a $50 citation. This is the first red light camera for the city, but will likely not be the last.

Virginia football player Anthony Harris was named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) football first team, announced by the league on Monday. Running back Kevin Parks was named to the second team, offensive tackle Morgan Moses was named to the third team and defensive tackle Brent Urban was an honorable mention selection.

Three quarterbacks – Duke’s Anthony Boone, Florida State’s Jameis Winston and Maryland’s C.J. Brown – were selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Backs of the Week in the final 2013 ACC Football Players of the Week announced on Monday.

This weekend, the Obama administration announced that the federal health insurance exchange website is now “accessible for the vast majority of users” after two months of glitches, errors, and bugs. While the website may be more accessible, the administration has not addressed another major issue presented by the launch of this website.

Is U.S. Sen. Mark Warner vulnerable in his upcoming 2014 re-election race? A poll commissioned by a conservative website suggests he may be. The Washington Free Beacon poll found that Warner would defeat a generic Republican candidate by just five points, 50 percent to 45 percent.
