The following is a list of highway work that may affect traffic in the Staunton District during the coming weeks.

Beginning Monday, a contractor with VDOT will begin paving work along a segment of Route 20 (Stony Point Road) in Albemarle County.

Motorists may experience brief delays early Sunday morning during slow-roll closures for utility work crossing eastbound Interstate 64 at mile marker 56 in Rockbridge County.

At 7:40 p.m., Friday (July 22, 2016), Virginia State Police responded to a vehicle crash that occurred on Interstate 81 at the 207 mile marker.

On July 21, a contractor with VDOT will trim vegetation to improve visibility on Route 250 at Route 676 in Albemarle County.
