Staunton Senior Center proposed four volunteer activities for groups taking part in the United Way Week of Caring in April.

Gannett Company Inc., parent company of the Staunton News Leader, has donated $5,500 to United Way of Greater Augusta to support its Dolly Parton Imagination Library program.
