Augusta Health will renovate the first floor of its Patient Tower, including conversion six patient rooms from semi-private to private rooms, over the next several months. The renovations will include upgrades to the bathrooms and shower areas. Construction will begin Monday, July 8.

Bob McDonnell announced this week the schedule of kickoff events across the Commonwealth for the “Virginia Adopts: Campaign for 1,000.” The campaign is an initiative to match 1,000 children currently in foster care with adoptive families.
