The VMI Keydets tied the game with a Hail Mary heave in the final seconds of regulation, but the Robert Morris Colonials saw Deontae Howard notch a 17-yard touchdown run in the second overtime, giving them a 37-31 win in football action Saturday at VMI’s Foster Stadium. The contest was the first overtime game the Keydets had been involved in since Oct. 22, 2005.

Scores of University of Virginia students will gather this Friday, September 20th, at the University of Virginia’s rotunda steps (north side) at 1 p.m. to deliver a petition signed by over 8,000 concerned citizen calling on the University to restore in full its long-standing grant aid commitment to students from low-income families.
