Snow continues through many areas in the Commonwealth of Virginia today. In the Shenandoah Valley no snow has fallen in the Winchester and Frederick County area and in the Lexington Rockbridge County area heavy snow has fallen for most of the day.

Moderate to heavy snowfall is making roadways slick in the central and southern Shenandoah Valley. By late morning Sunday, some areas have reported four inches of snow.

Winter precipitation continues throughout the Shenandoah Valley as mid-day approaches. Snow and ice can be found north of Shenandoah County and south of this region is mostly ice and freezing rain.
