The Route 29 Project Delivery Advisory Panel will hold its regular biweekly meeting at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Virginia Center for Transportation Innovation and Research, 530 Edgemont Road, Charlottesville.

On Tuesday, May 19, at 7 p.m. at Bridge Progressive Arts (209 Monticello Road, Charlottesville) the Shadows of Liberty USA Screening & Media Reform Action Tour will come to town for a special screening sponsored by Charlottesville Center for Peace and Justice, the Green Party of Virginia, Virginia AFL-CIO, Virginia Organizing, and WTJU Radio 91.1 FM.

Work continues on and along the Route 250 bypass ramps serving McIntire Road and John W. Parkway in Charlottesville. Ramp closures are to be expected weekdays between 9am and 4pm until Friday, May 15th. Formal detour signage will be in place.

Paving is scheduled for the Route 250 Bypass between Park Street and Rugby Avenue starting on Monday, April 20th to Friday, April 24th. Work will occur during the hours of 9am – 4pm weekdays.

City of Charlottesville officials will meet with representatives from Smart Growth America on April 28 and 29 as part of a free, grant-funded technical assistance program.
