Del. R. Steven Landes, (R-Weyers Cave), along with Sen. Emmett W. Hanger, Jr, (R-Augusta County), and Delegates Dickie Bell (R-Staunton), Ben Cline (R-Amherst), and Todd Gilbert (R-Woodstock) have signed on to the Amici Brief in Town of Greece v. Galloway, which has now been filed with the Supreme Court of the United States.
The Shenandoah Valley Art Center, during the month of August, is exhibiting works of art by the Beverley Street Studio School artists. Located in historic Downtown Staunton, the school of art has adopted as its mission “providing the community and region with a variety of opportunities to explore the world of the visual arts through practice, professional instruction, and contact with practicing artists.”
The Shenandoah Valley Partnership Board of Directors announced Monday that Dennis Burnett has been hired as executive director. Burnett will replace Robin Sullenberger, who will retire in September. Burnett will begin work with the Partnership on Sept. 1.
