Is WWE trying to kill Charlottesville with weak JPJ card?

Chris Graham

wweWWE is coming to the John Paul Jones Arena on May 15. Don’t feel the need to rush out to get your tickets right now or anything.

The kickoff show to Payback will feature a better card. The main event for the JPJ show is Kane and Big Show vs. Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman.

Two old guys you don’t want to see and two jobbers.

The other billed match has U.S. champ Kalisto defending against Ryback.

These guys wrestled about 5 p.m. on WrestleMania Sunday.

Tickets are going for anywhere from $15 to $100.

A hundred bucks for Kane-Show vs. the Wyatts and Kalisto-Ryback.

The website tells us New Day will be there along with Paige, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch.

Put the women into a Triple Threat, and you’ll at least have one match worth watching.

Not a hundred bucks worth watching or anything.

Seriously, WWE, which has broadcast its Monday Night Raw show from JPJ in the past, is getting mighty arrogant to bring this card to Charlottesville and expect to sell tickets.

This level of card is the classic way to kill a town.
