Gas prices now on the verge of passing $4 per gallon, with no end in sight

Gas prices are on the verge of breaking through the $4-a-gallon barrier, with both AAA and GasBuddy pegging the national average at $3.98 a gallon, more than a dollar above where we were before the Trump regime launched war on Iran a month ago.

But don’t worry: Donald Trump said the Iranians gave him 10 big boatloads of oil as a peace offering, because, sure they did.

“They said to show you the fact that we’re real and solid and we’re there. We’re going to let you have eight boats of oil — eight boats, eight big boats of oil,” Trump said, during one of his fake Cabinet meetings, later upping the imaginary offering to 10 boatloads of oil, because why not just lie even more.

One of these boatloads of oil, if they’re the large crude carriers, would be able to ship about 2 million barrels.

Times 10, that’s 20 million barrels.

Which is how much oil the U.S. uses in a day, according to the Energy Information Administration.

If you’re wondering how much of an impact this supposed donation from Iran is having on gas prices, you already have your answer.
