We’re all used to 2020 election denial. Former Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin has come up with a new one: the Democrats stole 2025!
“I think that is absolutely cause for literally almost a recount and a revote of the original election, because I think they have disqualified themselves to serve as leaders in Virginia, simply because they promised they would do one thing, and they did 100 percent the opposite, but they did it and knowingly violated the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Constitution,” said Youngkin, in a guest appearance on the podcast of Benny Johnson, the MAGA influencer who we learned a couple of years ago was funded by Russia.
The basis of the rant here from ol’ Glenn – whose endorsed successor, the former lieutenant governor, Winsome Earle-Sears, lost to the Democratic Party nominee, Abigail Spanberger, in a 15-point blowout last fall – was, well, you know, Virginia Democrats tried to change the congressional maps.
Which, of course, gotta point out, for posterity, Republicans did the same in Texas and Florida, and Louisiana and Alabama and North Carolina and Tennessee, and Ohio and Missouri.
The difference between what the Virginia Democrats tried to do, and what the Republicans in all the states listed above were able to do, is, Virginia Democrats actually went to the voters, via referendum – whereas the Republicans just rammed through their new, MAGA-friendly maps.
Well, there’s the one other key difference – our effort here wasn’t successful, because the 4-3 MAGA majority on our state Supreme Court rewrote the state Constitution on the fly.

So, anyway, what Youngkin seems to be trying to say here is, Democrats put it to the voters, more than 3 million people went to the polls to cast their lots, a majority said, yes, change the congressional maps, four MAGAs in robes said, no, we’re not going to let you, ergo, we need to do a revote of 2025, because, why, again?
“My big observation is that that Abigail Spamberger and Democrat leadership knew they were violating the Constitution,” Youngkin told Johnson, the representative of Russian state media.
“Abigail Spamberger,” ha.
When your last name rhymes with “bumpkin,” maybe don’t play that game.
“They knew it, and in fact, I think if you put them under oath and forced them to to really answer it, they would say, Yes, we knew that we were violating the Constitution. We thought we could get away with it. And then I asked the question: Well, wait a minute, you put your hand on the Holy Bible, and you swore to support the Constitution of the United States of America and the Commonwealth of Virginia, and then you knowingly violated it,” Youngkin said.
This is where I remind you that Youngkin – net worth: $470 million – was announced last month as a partner, chairman and board member of the venture firm Red Cell Partners, where his focus will be on government relations and business partnership relationships.

Translated: Youngkin is, basically, monetizing, for the bottom-line benefit of Red Cell Partners, his time in the governor’s office.
My best guess would be, the folks at Red Cell Partners don’t want a Gov. Crazytown out there trying to part other rich people from their money.
But, I mean, I dunno, maybe I’m wrong.
“As Americans, we’ve got to stand up and push this socialist agenda away as fast as we possibly can. Otherwise, I’m telling you, everything that we hold dear will be under assault,” Youngkin told Johnson, the Russian asset, adding: “that’s why I call on not just Republicans, but independents and a lot of Democrats, to stand up for America and go vote for common sense, and let’s reject crazy.”
Good luck with this guy making you a dime, Red Cell.
The Democrats stole 2025 won’t make anybody on that side any money, and it’s doubtful that it will do much for our former governor, Mr. Youngkin, who has no obvious political future, other than wasting a few hundred thousand dollars out of his rich friends’ couch cushions on an aborted run at the 2028 nomination.
Glenn Youngkin doesn’t get it that his 15 minutes was only made possible because his opponent in 2021 was Terry McAuliffe, who has the distinction of running the most bassackwards gubernatorial campaign in modern political history.
He thinks he’s due another 15 minutes?
