Women’s basketball: UVA travels to Michigan State in 2018 ACC/Big Ten Challenge

The UVA women’s basketball team (2-4) faces Michigan State (4-1) on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 7 p.m., at the Breslin Center in East Lansing, Mich.

• This is Virginia’s second game in a four-day span against a team from the Great Lakes State after playing Central Michigan on Saturday
• The Cavaliers are coming off a three-game week, having played NC A&T (W, 67-57) last Tuesday, followed by back-to-back games on Saturday and Sunday against Central Michigan (L, 74-61) and Saint Louis (L, 67-65)
• Junior guard Jocelyn Willoughby (East Orange, N.J.) has scored in double figures in each of the last four games after scoring a combine 12 points in the first two games of the season
• Junior guard Dominique Toussaint (Staten Island, N.Y.) has scored in double figure in five of UVA’s seven games this season
• A different Cavalier has led the team in scoring in each of the last four games (Willoughby, Toussaint, Tinsley, Martinsen)
