‘With Good Reason’: Mary Washington faculty highlight Virginia education

A dozen University of Mary Washington faculty members have been featured on “With Good Reason,” a radio program of Virginia Humanities.

The program brings research and insights of Virginia educators to audiences across the United States. Mary Washington faculty have spoken on topics since summer 2023, including the complexities of foreign alliances, political humor, musical experiences and photoshopping.

More than 100,000 listeners tune in to “With Good Reason” on 128 radio stations in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and 38 states. More hear content through iTunes podcasts.

The Virginia Humanities and UMW partnership highlights the work of the higher education system in Virginia.

With Good Reason” is available every Sunday at 2 p.m. on Radio IQ/WVTF in Fredericksburg, on WAMU on Saturday mornings and online.
