William & Mary hosts Duquesne in FCS playoffs first round

william & maryAfter claiming a share the Colonial Athletic Association title, the William & Mary football team will host Duquesne in the first round of the NCAA FCS Playoffs on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

Beginning at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22, current season ticket holders will be able to log into the “My Account” page of TribeAthletics.com to renew their same seats for NCAA playoff games. Season ticket holders will have until 6 p.m. the Tuesday of the week of the game to purchase their tickets to guarantee their same seats. After that, all remaining seats will be available for general public sale. General public sales will begin on Monday, Nov. 23 at 8:30 a.m.

Due to high demand and volume, fans are encouraged to purchase online at TribeAthletics.com. Fans may also call the ticket office at 757-221-3340 during playoff business hours or visit the box office in person at William & Mary Hall. Complete NCAA Playoff ticket info is available here (PDF).

Ranked 13th nationally in the final STATS FCS Poll, W&M won six of its final seven games en route to posting an 8-3 record overall and a 6-2 mark in league play.

Duquesne earned an automatic bid in the playoffs be virtue of winning the outright Northeast Conference title. The Dukes posted an 8-3 record overall and a 5-1 mark in the NEC. Among its losses was a 17-14 setback against CAA member Albany in late September.
