William and Mary football moves up national rankings

wm-logoAfter earning a 31-17 victory against Delaware last Saturday, the William and Mary football team moved up in both major Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) polls this week. W&M is ranked No. 17 in both The Sports Network Poll and the Coaches Poll.

The Tribe (5-3, 2-2) will continue its challenging conference slate when it plays at in-state rival James Madison (5-3, 2-2) on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The contest will be televised by American Sports Network.

W&M enters the upcoming game at JMU having scored 31 points in each of its last two games, while it is averaging 440.0 total yards per game during the span.
