Who does Ben Cline stand with? Us, or pardoned J6er convicted child molesters?

Ben Cline likes to post pithy statements to his socials whenever he can politicize a crime involving an “illegal alien,” so, let’s play a little game, OK, Bennie?

If you agree with this statement, Mr. Congressman, then stand up and show your support:

The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not J6ers convicted for trying to overturn an election who were then pardoned by Donald Trump, and subsequently arrested, convicted and sentenced to life in prison for molesting two pre-teens.

You’re not going to see Ben Cline move an inch on that, much less get out of his seat.

Because if he did, Trump would go on a middle-of-the-night Truth Social tirade that would end with him threatening to primary Cline into an early retirement.

That’s how things roll over there in MAGA-land.

To finish this out, then:

Bennie, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Pardoned J6er Andrew Paul Johnson is the latest of that ignominious pardoned J6er group to reoffend; Johnson got himself a life sentence in a Florida court this week after being convicted in a child sex case involving two children of a woman that he met at a political rally in 2023.

The woman let Johnson sleep on her couch; there were vague promises of the guy doing some handyman-type stuff around the house, and more to the point, hints that he would share some of the millions of dollars in restitution that he expected to receive from the Trump regime in connection with his Jan. 6 case.

The woman’s son testified that he was 11 years old when the abuse from Johnson began; the kid said he had fallen asleep while watching a “scary movie,” and then when he woke up in the morning, “he was touching me, I felt him touching me in my private area.”

Johnson also abused the boy’s best friend, a 12-year-old girl.

Both pre-teens testified that Johnson exposed himself to them multiple times, made explicit sexual comments, and physically and sexually abused them.

A jury found Johnson guilty last month of lewd or lascivious molestation of a victim less than 12 years of age, lewd or lascivious molestation of a victim 12 years of age or older but less than 16 years of age, two counts of lewd or lascivious exhibition, and transmission of material harmful to a minor by electronic device.

Life in prison is too good for this prick.

Who, need you be reminded, was pardoned by Donald Trump, on Day 1 of his second term, on Jan. 20, 2025.

Meaning, Ben Cline has had 401 days, at this writing, to have offered even just a single critical word for Trump’s pardons, and the effort by the administration to whitewash the episode from the official history: the White House website describes the Jan. 6 defendants as “patriotic Americans prosecuted for their presence at the Capitol.”

Trump, understandably, loves these people; they’re the only people who literally stood up for him when he made the call to overthrow the government in his name.

He’ll do anything for his J6ers, including go out of his way to make excuses for their behavior.

On that point, after another pardoned J6er was charged last year with threatening to kill House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Trump was asked if his pardons undermined his effort to position himself as appearing to be tough on crime.

“No, you have thousands of people that we’re dealing with, and, you know, if one goes haywire,” Trump said, leaving whatever else he was thinking there hang in the air.

More than one has gone haywire, for the record; the running list is 33 pardoned J6ers having been arrested and charged with new crimes – six on child sex crimes, two others charged with rape, two in DUI fatalities, another charged with firing on police as they were conducting a welfare check.

Thirty-three out of the more than 1,500 convicted J6ers given pardons is right at 2 percent.

A National Institute of Justice report on crime involving undocumented aliens pegs the arrest rate for that population as being much, much lower – try, six-tenths of one person, or, about a third of the arrest rate for our pardoned J6ers cohort.

You can still stand up for the rights of American citizens over the rights of pardoned J6er child molesters here, Bennie, is what I’m getting at with this.
