Waynesboro YMCA Spring Gala set for Friday, May 2


The Waynesboro Family YMCA is hosting its 28th annual Spring Gala at the Best Western Waynesboro on Friday, May 2nd at 6 p.m.

spring galaThe premier fundraising event in the Valley is an elegant night out with proceeds benefiting youth and family programming at the Y.  Last year, the Y provided over $100,000 in scholarships for those in need that normally could not afford Y programming.

This year’s theme is surrounding the Kentucky Derby.  We encourage participants to dress in Derby attire and have fun!

Tickets are $150 for two, which gets:

  • Entrance in the Live/Silent Auction and Dance
  • ‘Play money’ to bet on the In-door Horse Race
  • Food and Beverage (cash bar starts at 10pm) – Heavy hors d’oeuvres with kentucky derby themed food provided by DiFlorio Catering
