A new Texas Roadhouse restaurant will open to the public in Waynesboro on Monday, March 17, with its legendary steaks, fall-off-the-bone ribs and made-from-scratch sides.

The restaurant is located at 1880 Rosser Avenue and will be open Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and open Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The restaurant has hired more than 200 employees.

Local fire, police and healthcare workers have been invited to test drive the food and service as the restaurant trains servers, line cooks, hosts, meat cutters and more.

Prior to opening, the restaurant will also host invitation-only pre-opening events and raise money for the Boys & Girls Club of Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta County.

“We are passionate about supporting organizations that educate and facilitate positive influences for children,” said  Mahasinah Dent, managing partner. “Boys & Girls Club of Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta County provides life-changing programs, fun enriching experiences and supportive relationships with peers and caring adults. We’re so proud to celebrate our opening by supporting this incredible organization.”

An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Friday, March 14, at 4 p.m.

Texas Roadhouse has more than 650 locations in 49 states and 11 foreign countries.
