Waynesboro Schools offers free breakfast, lunch through summer for children under 18

Waynesboro Schools is providing free meals through the summer for children 18 years old and younger at each school site in the River City.

The Summer Food Service Program provides meals for children under 18 at no charge and regardless of the child’s race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability or age, and no discrimination will be permitted in the course of the meal service.

Children must eat the meals while on site. The program will be closed tomorrow, June 19, in recognition of Juneteenth, but will otherwise be open Mondays to Fridays.

Meals will be provided on the following dates:
Berkeley Glenn Elementary School
May 27-29, June 2-12, July 7-17
Breakfast: 8 to 9 a.m.
Lunch: 10 to 10:30 a.m.

William Perry Elementary School
June 2-18, July 7-17
Breakfast: 8 to 9:15 a.m.
Lunch: 10 to 10:30 a.m.

Wenonah Elementary School
June 2-26, July 7-17
Breakfast: 8 to 9 a.m.
Lunch: 10 to 10:30 a.m.

Westwood Hills Elementary School
June 2-18, July 7-17
Breakfast: 8 to 9 a.m.
Lunch: 10 to 10:30 a.m.

Kate Collins Middle School
July 7-17
Breakfast: 8 to 9 a.m.
Lunch 10 to 10:30 a.m.

Waynesboro High School
June 2-26
Lunch; 9:15 to 9:30 a.m.
