In conjunction with the Evening of Tolerance, everyone is invited to discuss The Book Thief by Markus Zusak at the October meeting.
Thursday, October 11, 6:00 p.m. for children and 7:30 p.m. for adults – Evening of Tolerance. Holocaust survivor Mark Strauss recounts his experiences as a child in Nazi occupied Poland. The children’s portion includes a reading of Dr. Seuss’ The Sneetches and an art activity. He will share his story with adults through a presentation of his artwork.
