Waynesboro: Public hearing set to discuss moving Ward C voting location

Waynesboro City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday night to discuss the relocation of the Ward C polling location.

The public hearing is part of a regular meeting of City Council that starts at 7 p.m.

The current Ward C location is the Wayne Hills Pre-K Center on Fir Street.

The proposed location would be Kate Collins Middle School at 1625 Ivy Street.

If the ordinance is approved, the first election at the new Ward C polling location will be the Nov. 5. 2024, general election.

Waynesboro Council Chambers are located at 503 W. Main St. in Waynesboro.
