Waynesboro man charged with multiple counts of child rape

Bobby MorrisThe Waynesboro Police Department has charged a Waynesboro man with multiple counts of rape and sexual assault for incidents that occurred over a four year period beginning in the summer of 2010 and ending during the summer of 2013.

Bobby Lee Morris, 28, was arrested yesterday on 14 felony warrants without incident and is being held without bond at Middle River Regional Jail.

The incidents occurred at the suspect’s home located in a northeast city neighborhood and the two victims, one female and one male, are related to him. Both victims were less than 13 years of age when all of the incidents occurred, but their exact ages are not being released.

The charges are as follows:

  • 6 counts of forcible rape
  • 6 counts animate object sexual penetration
  • 2 counts forcible sodomy
